The Glocal Card – A Phone Card & Collaborative Intervention The Glocal Card is a functional and free international phone card that offers free worldwide calls in exchange for filling out an anonymous survey about the call. The survey generates a visual record of the connections between the Bronx and the world beyond in the form of charts and graphs that illustrate these ties. The name conflates "global" and "local" both to interrogate the connotations of these words and to evoke a vision of local immigrants reaching out across the globe. |
